I Need To Take Money Out Of My Account.

First, give yourself plenty of time for this transaction to take place. It typically takes 5 - 7 business days to make trades and have investment firm send money. When making the request please let us know the following:

  • The Dollar Amount You Want Taken Out
  • If You Want Taxes Withheld From Your Distribution

Depending on the company you may need to sign a Distribution Request Form. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All distribution requests must be made over the telephone or in-person. We are unable to accept any trade instructions through email or fax.

I Change Bank Accounts And Need To Update My Payment Plans.

First, give yourself plenty of time for this change to be made. It may take a couple of weeks depending on the company. Changing bank accounts requires:

  • A Signed Form By All Account Owners
  • A Voided Check

I Need To Update The Beneficiaries Listed On My Account.

Each company requires a signed form for each account you have. You will need the following information to complete your request:

  • Beneficiary Name
  • Date of Birth 
  • Social Security Number 
  • Telephone Number
  • Address
  • If a trust, the date of the last modification to the trust.

I Need To Update My Address, Contact Information or Name On My Account.

Each company varies greatly on how they address these changes. Best practice is to contact our office, so we can help you get the correct forms and let you know of any additional information/documentation that may be required.

Yes, most companies have an electronic delivery option which allows you to receive items through email. However, set up is different for each company.

When Will I Receive My Tax Documents?

Tax documents are delivered at different times depending on the company.

  • Most directly held fund families send out their 1099's around the first week of February.
  • Pershing and other brokerage accounts send out their 1099's near the end of February or early March. 

Our office may be able to provide you with a tax summary, but this is not your final tax document. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have signed up for paperless delivery your 1099's will be emailed to you.
